Using the Step-by-Step Slideshow Maker
Here’s a little secret: the main tool you’ll use to create a slideshow is the little “pages” icon in the PicMonkey editor. Add multiple pages to your project and export them as a continuous video, PDF, or individual image files. It depends on how you want to share your slideshow. Let’s start!
Use the Slideshow Maker to Create a Photo or Video Presentation.
Browse our selection of blank canvas to find the right size for your needs. The canvas size you choose will be the size of any additional pages (slides) you add to your project. This is because you cannot have different canvas sizes within a multi-page document.
Tips for choosing a blank canvas size for your slideshow design:
If you want to create an Instagram story with multiple photos. Select a blank Instagram story canvas.
To create a business presentation that works with PowerPoint or Google Slides, select an empty presentation area.
If you create a slideshow that will eventually be exported as a single video. You can select the video space, for example 2K QHD, 4k UHDTV, 1080 HD, Vertical Full HD etc…
2. Add photos and/or videos. text and images
You can create a mix of video and still images for your slideshow. Or you can choose to display only text or images on the page, the choice is yours! The maximum number of pages you can add to a multi-page file is 30, so mix it up to tell your visual story. Add text and logo to video and also play with animation to make these elements animate on the page. It’s a great way to get visual attention.
3. Click “Pages” to add additional pages to your slideshow.
When you add another page You can duplicate your current page. or add a new page Making a copy of your current page is a good alternative. For example, if you want the same layout on all your slides, your logo will be in the same place on every slide. or text that stays in the same place during the slideshow.
4. Continue your slideshow with additional pages.
Add extra pages to your slideshow in the form of still images, videos, text, or even your logo. Note that each slide is listed for the length of the video element it contains.
• Example 1: If your slide has a :05 second video and a :20 second video, the slide will display :20 seconds.
• Example 2: If your slide has animated GIF images. The slide is displayed for a default duration of :06 seconds.
• Example 3: If your slide has a :04 second animated GIF and video, the slide will display :04 seconds.
Pro Tip: Turn your slideshow pages into a collage! Select Collage from the top toolbar and merge your collection of photos, videos, textures and colors.
5. Export your slideshow in the correct format.
When you’re done building the slideshow Export a multi-page project as a single video/gif file instead (think looping slideshow), or you can export a multi-page project as a separate video (for example, a slideshow with a story). which you need to upload to Insta separately)
Download as a single MP4/GIF file: Creates a “movie” of your web page. and will move from place to place like a movie. Each page of your slideshow will be displayed for six seconds if the page contains still images. However, if the page has video Pages are displayed based on the length of the video.
Download as multiple MP4/GIF files: Selecting this option will export your project as individual GIF or MP4 files in a ZIP archive. The story must be a separate file.
