There are innumerable sleeping disorders, like sleep apnea, insomnia, excessive sleep, etc. we’ll be discussing the most common ones, below.

1.  Sleep Apnea:

Sleep apnea is getting more common day by day. It is a sleep-breathing disorder. In this condition, the patient’s breath is interrupted multiple times during the night. This usually occurs due to partial or complete blockage of the airway. Choking or gasping loudly for breath during sleep, are common symptoms of sleep apnea. 2.  Insomnia:

Restless leg syndrome is growing rapidly in the US. An individual experiencing RLS feels a tingling, painful sensation in their legs. The patient feels the urge to move their legs again and again, during sleep. People who are dealing with RLS, experience the strongest symptoms while they are at rest, during the night. This makes it hard for them to sleep as well. There is no permanent treatment for RLS yet. However, exercises, therapy, and some lifestyle changes can help in gaining control over it.

4.  Excessive Sleepiness:

Excessive sleepiness disorder instigates intense drowsiness during the daytime in an individual. There are various reasons which can contribute to EDS. hyperthyroidism, anxiety, depression, and diabetes are some of the core causes of excessive sleepiness disorder. Only your doctor can look into the condition and find the cause.

A healthy sleeping pattern is extremely important for a normal and active life. Lack of good quality sleep leads to grogginess, unproductivity, endless fatigue, and intensely drops the quality of your life too. If you are experiencing issues with your sleeping routine; you must visit a doctor right away. A proper diagnosis can help you find a treatment and you can then lead a normal, healthy, and productive life.
